Call for Evidence Survey - Drugs and Alcohol Service

Overview

Warwickshire County Council are seeking the views of those with lived/living experience of substance misuse, those who have been impacted by someone’s substance misuse and Warwickshire residents. As you complete the survey the questions you will see will depend upon the answers provided. 

Alcohol and drug misuse relates to the use of alcohol and/or drugs which affects someone’s health and wellbeing and those around them. Misuse can involve being dependent on substances or taking them in a way that causes harm. Some substances, such as illegal drugs, cause harm however you take them. 
Alcohol and drug misuse becomes an issue when it affects someone’s day-to-day life, feelings and emotions, health, and their relationships with others.

If you are struggling with alcohol or drugs you don’t have to face it alone.

How to respond

There are several ways you can share your thoughts individually or as part of a group:

• Request a paper survey: You can request a paper copy or specific format or language by email.
