Electric Vehicle Cross Pavement Charging Channels

Overview

Electric vehicle charging pavement channels are narrow channels installed in the pavement that allow an electric vehicle charging cable to run safely from your home to your car without creating a trip hazard. When not in use, the cable can be removed, and the gully sits flush with the pavement surface. They are designed for residents who park on-street and want a convenient way to charge their electric vehicles at home without relying on public charging points.

Warwickshire County Council is exploring whether electric vehicle charging pavement channels could help more people switch to electric vehicles. We would like your views on interest, practicality, and payment options.
