NHS Health Checks |
An NHS Health Check is a free check-up for adults aged 40 to 74 who do not have certain pre-existing conditions, to spot early signs or risks of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and dementia. The service provides on-site testing equipment and supplies, along with a data processing system that automatically shares test results with the GP's system. Why your views matter
The survey will gather feedback that will help shape future lifestyle services. The goal is to ensure these services effectively support residents' health and wellbeing.
We have a limited amount of funding available for the service, and we need to use it to get the best value for money and have the biggest impact on residents’ health and wellbeing. This may include making sure the funding is used to help people who face more health challenges.
WCC wants input from people who work with anyone who lives, works, studies in Warwickshire, or is registered with a Warwickshire GP, to make the best use of limited resources and deliver maximum impact.
