Overview

Wellbeing for Warwickshire (WfW) offers a range of services countywide to support the mental health and wellbeing of adults aged 18 and over, with appropriately targeted services also offered to individuals aged 16 and over. 

This includes: 

  • A 24/7 365 day wellbeing telephone line 
  • A dedicated website that provides information on all the WfW services 
  • An online platform that provides one-to-one mental health counselling, messaging, forums, drop-in chats and helpful tools (provided by Qwell).  
  • Wellbeing Hubs within the community across the county that are drop-in sessions and include the option for one-to-one support (provided by Coventry Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind, which previously included South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind) 
  • One-to-one support in the community for those that are socially isolated and lonely (provided by KeyRing)  
  • A range of mental health and wellbeing courses and workshops (provided by Recovery & Wellbeing Academy)

Wellbeing Line

The Wellbeing Line is a telephone support line that is open and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to residents of Coventry* and Warwickshire. The Wellbeing Line team can help if you are: 

  • feeling low, anxious or stressed 
  • in emotional distress with nowhere else to turn 
  • caring for another, but find it difficult to cope 
  • looking for information or advice – wondering how to get support for your mental wellbeing 
  • socially isolated and want to connect with others 

The Wellbeing Line support will help to direct you to parts of the Wellbeing for Warwickshire service that suits you best, or onto other services.

Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind- (which now includes South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind)

Coventry Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind is a local mental health charity providing a range of services that support individuals with mental health problems. As part of Wellbeing for Warwickshire they provide: 

  • Wellbeing Hubs and drop-ins in Bedworth, Leamington, North Warwickshire, Nuneaton, Rugby, Stratford and Warwick 
  • One-to-one support 
  • Outreach work to promote mental health awareness and support in community and public settings both in venues and online.

KeyRing

KeyRing delivers flexible support that helps people become more independent. As part of Wellbeing for Warwickshire, KeyRing provides the Community Links service. They provide support to people experiencing social isolation to help them access and engage in their local community. People are offered support for up to 6 sessions.

Qwell

Qwell is a provider of free, safe and anonymous digital mental wellbeing support for adults aged 26+.  Qwell is a standalone anonymous digital platform, which is available on any web-enabled, internet connected device (including laptop, smart phone, tablet) 24/7, 365 days a year. The service includes features such as: 

  • online messaging at a time that suits you 
  • community support – moderated peer forums 
  • booked and drop-in chats with BACP, UKCP or NCS registered or accredited counsellors (midday to 10pm weekdays and 6pm to 10pm on weekends, all year long).  
  • personal development tools 
  • therapeutic content – from online community and professionals 

There is also Kooth which provides support for 16-25 year olds - this service isn’t commissioned through the WfW contract and we are not gathering people’s thoughts on that service within this survey.

Recovery and Wellbeing Academy

The Recovery and Wellbeing Academy offers a wide range of courses and workshops designed to empower mental health and wellbeing provided by a number of partner organisations working together. As part of Wellbeing for Warwickshire, anyone living in Warwickshire who wants to better manage or understand their mental health and wellbeing can access a timetable of online and face to face courses.
