We recently asked you to 'have your say' about Warwickshire Fire and Rescue and to be honest, we are overwhelmed with the great feedback you have given us. We have taken on board any comments in relation to how you think we could improve our services and we will continue to engage with communities at our open days, community events, through our social media sites and our Safe and Well scheme.

As your fire and rescue service we are committed to keeping Warwickshire's communities safer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To ensure we're doing the right thing, it is important for us to understand if our communities feel safe, are satisfied with the service we provide, and that they feel informed about the work we do which is why we are so grateful to those who responded.

The headline figures are as follows:
• 93% of people feel safe
• 86% have a positive perception of WFRS
• 83% of respondents were satisfied with service
• 78% are satisfied we deal with what matters to them

The video below highlights just some of what you said and what we do to make Warwickshire a safer place to live and work.

Overview

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to keep Warwickshire safe. This is achieved in a number of ways; by fighting fires, attending road traffic collisions, rescuing people from floods, rescuing animals, working in schools and nurseries educating young people, carrying out Safe and Well checks for the most vulnerable members of our community, inspecting business premises, undertaking visual audits, advising local authorities on how to keep premises safe and attending community events. We also provide resilience for national emergencies and provide support to our colleagues in neighbouring Fire and Rescue Services when they need it. We constantly review our resources to ensure that we have the right people, equipment, and fire engines in the right place ready to respond when the public need us the most.

We want to understand if our communities do feel safe, are satisfied with the service we provide, and that they feel informed about the work we do. If you have five minutes to answer a short survey, please follow the link below.
