Expansion of capacity at Evergreen School
Overview
This consultation is being undertaken to advise you of proposals concerning Evergreen School and to invite you to tell us what you think of the proposals. This is part of a statutory consultation process that Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is managing in partnership with the Governing Body of the school. The proposal is:
To increase the capacity of Evergreen School by 40 places
Evergreen School, a community special school - Brittain Lane, Warwick CV34 6DX

Why your views matter
Public consultation is in accordance with the statutory guidance produced by the Department for Education whereby ‘LAs for community special schools may seek to increase the number of places by following the statutory process’.
The representation period will last 4 weeks from Monday 23rd January to Sunday 19th February 2023.
What happens next
This consultation has now closed. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to share their views with us. All feedback is now being considered and will inform our thinking on the proposal to expand Evergreen School. It will be considered by WCC Cabinet. If the County Council’s Cabinet agree to the proposal, the expansion will proceed with a provisional target date of 1 September 2024.
