Consultation on the proposal to relocate and increase the capacity of Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School and to establish specialist resourced provision

Closed 22 Mar 2024

Opened 26 Feb 2024

Overview

Warwickshire County Council is proposing to relocate Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School to a new site on a nearby housing development, increase capacity and establish specialist resourced provision.  If approved the provision would be implemented from Autumn 2025.

The proposal is outlined as follows:

  • To relocate Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School to a new site on a nearby housing development and increase the capacity by 315 pupils. This would mean Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School would move from a half form entry (0.5 FE) primary school to a two form entry (2FE) primary school (420 pupils)
  • To establish educational provision for children with special educational needs in the form of specialist resourced provision for up to 8 primary aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or Communication and Interaction needs at Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School.  The specific type of need that the provision will be focusing on is still to be determined.

Further information on the proposal is contained in the consultation documents below.
