Integrated Community Equipment Services & Assistive Technology

Closed 14 Jul 2021

Opened 14 Jun 2021

Overview

The Integrated Community Equipment (ICE) service delivers equipment to residents in Warwickshire and service users registered with a Warwickshire GP. The contract also offers an Assistive Technology offer incorporating a Telecare service and performs minor adaptations. The service is delivered through a joint agreement between Warwickshire County Council and Health Partners.

The equipment supplied helps prevent admission to and facilitates discharge from hospital. In doing so, the ICE service supports the Council’s priorities; to help Warwickshire people to stay safe, and be healthy, independent, and engaged with their communities.

The contract with our current provider is in place until 31st August 2022 and recommissioning activity has commenced. By completing the survey, your views will help us shape the service that meets service user needs now and in the future.
